Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a major Hindu festival that symbolizes the victory of good over evil, truth over lies, and righteousness over injustice. It is celebrated on the tenth day (Dashami) of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the month of Ashwin (September–October), marking the end of the Navratri festival.
