Navagraha Pooja is a traditional Hindu ritual to honor the nine celestial bodies, or “grahas”: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu. It is performed to appease these planets, reduce negative influences in one’s life, and promote peace, prosperity, and success by harmonizing their cosmic forces. The pooja is often based on a person’s horoscope to address specific planetary “doshas” or flaws.
